A few words from the bride:
"One of the most difficult things about planning a wedding is cost. That was the biggest struggle for David and I, trying to plan a wedding we would love in a budget we could afford. The greatest struggles during the planning phase were the disagreements and frustrations over costs. Ultimately, the key was remembering that the temple was the most important part of the day, and that if we focused on that everything else would work out. And it did! We went to all planning meetings together, made every decision together, and everything was just as we wanted it to be. We splurged on some things, cut costs on others, all the while reminding each other that no matter what it said on paper, you couldn't put a price on a love like ours!
When our wedding day came, it was simply incredible. Of course we had the little uncontrollable glitches ...families arriving late for photos, the hot, bright Arizona sun glaring in my poor husband's sensitive eyes outside the temple, not to mention the cake topper we bought not even fitting the cake ... But in the fantastic haze of laughter, dancing, and eating none of those things seemed to matter. To be sealed to my best friend was the greatest experience of my entire life, and the reception was one fitting celebration of such an event! My husband and I agreed that the best part of our wedding day, aside from actually getting married, was our first dance as husband and wife. Amidst the hustle and bustle of pictures and luncheons and touch ups to hair and makeup, we'd barely had two minutes alone all day! As the music started to play and we took the dance floor, it was as if we were the only two people in the world. Time stopped, like something out of a movie, and it finally hit us ... We were married! I got emotional ... Our eyes gave away what our hearts were feeling ... It was an indescribable feeling.
I'll never forget my wedding day. Everyone looked gorgeous, all of our vendors were courteous, professional and prompt, my dress was stunning (I mean, according to our guests ...), and it was the first day of a wonderful eternity ahead. It was worth every penny, every sacrifice or struggle, and every stressful moment. Beyond worth it!"
