And now a deliciously detailed rundown from the bride:

Highs and Lows:So where to begin. As soon as Kyle and I got engaged, my goal was to never get stressed. I didn't want to end up being one of those crazy Bridezillas who wasn't able to enjoy her wedding because of all the ridiculous details. So fortunately, there were far more highs than lows! But one of my greatest highs while planning was going dress shopping with my mom. I think that was the moment when we both realized that I was actually getting married! It was full of tears and laughs and hugs and concerns about price tags, and will be a time that I will always remember.
As for lows, there was one in particular that forced us to laugh in the end. So I bought my dress from David's Bridal, but decided to go elsewhere to have it altered. The guy was (and still is) highly recommended, however it was like pulling teeth trying to get it from him on time. It was supposed to be ready mid July, but after driving 2 hours for our appointment to pick it up, his store was closed mid day with no one in sight. So we all just forced a laugh and rescheduled an appointment. Upon the next appointment, the dress was finished, but he forgot about the jacket. So we left with forced laughter again, and scheduled another appointment. On our way there the last time, we just happened to call to make sure it was ready, and guess what? He forgot again. But in the end, it all worked out and the dress fit perfect. I guess I was just being taught patience in a very cruel way!

Wedding Day experience:The day of the Wedding was quite an experience. I am so glad that it started off with the temple. With all the business and rushing of the secular side of things, it was so incredible to just feel peace and calm. Right after the temple though, the whirlwind began! It seemed like there was never a dull moment that whole day. Its true that you don't really get to experience your wedding when you're in it. Once it was all over, the first thing we did was eat a HUGE plate of food and watch the Olympics!

Favorite Details & Moments:So even though I tried to not get stressed out, I am too much of a detailed person to not get overwhelmed. Kyle made fun of me because I seriously had a spreadsheet for everything. But a lot of the little things that we did in our wedding I owe to good ol' Pinterest. There is a point though when you can only do so much from that website! Sometimes it is a curse because you want to do everything and it is all DIY things! But I took a lot of inspiration from there, and then found ways to make everything my own.
The moment I loved the most was when I was able to sing two songs to Kyle on the Ukulele I wanted to do something really personal that showed him just how much I cared. I wanted to show him just how thankful I was for him putting up with all of our wedding plans, and being the best fiancee ever. I think those are the things that mean the most when all the details are said and done.
