This adorable couple was sealed in the
Houston, Texas Temple, and like so many other LDS brides and grooms, they couldn't have all their friends and family attend, so they went the extra mile to make their reception personal and fun. These two have an amazing an unique style that I absolutely love! Images were submitted by

Lauralee's style can be seen in every detail of her wedding. They tried to stay away from things that were too traditional or "over-worked" and went with a vintage garden theme, which turned out beautifully. Even down to her headband and beautiful necklace, she is unique and stunning. |

The men in vests with colored shirts and ties looks fantastic! Who said there aren't very many ways to dress the groomsmen? Your traditional tux is nice, but there are so many other options! |
I can't say enough positive things about this bride's choice of accessories for her bridesmaids. The dresses are beautiful and simple--which will make for great dresses after the wedding--and the clutch purses and golden shoes are so classy! Not to mention the beautiful lace jackets Lauralee picked out. The ladies look fantastic from top to bottom! |
What a colorful and bold location for bridals! |
Yummy, adorable, and in matching colors, these candy dispensers are perfect for this couple's reception! |
The bride and groom had Carrabba's cater their reception, the bride's favorite Italian food in Texas. |
How adorable and beautiful is this table? It matches the garden down to the very last detail. The fancy framed chalk boards are such a wonderful idea! |
For dessert, the couple provided the ingredients and the recipe for some delicious treats. |
These "I Spy" cards were left for every guest on their plate. What a wonderful way to hear from all of your guests in a way that's convenient for them and will make for wonderful keepsakes. |
The decorations and flowers at this reception were all down by the bride and her sisters! They are amazing! |
The couple had these adorable signs directing guests to the different parts of the reception. What a gorgeous location! |
A great way to match your foods to your colors at the recpetion is to buy candies wrapped in your colors or candies that come in your colors like this rock candy. It's beautiful and probably quite tasty too. |
The cakes were all made by the bride's mother, who got her inspriation from Nothing Bundt Cakes. |
Such gorgeous vintage pieces! |
I haven't seen a View Master since I was about seven! What an incredibly cute idea! The couple had these custom made for their reception. |
Love the lace table runner. Details like that really make a difference. |
There was a claw machine at the reception! So creative and it was a huge hit too! |
What an adorable way to collect cards! It matches the vintage look of the whole reception. |
Lauralee tried to give her reception a "Secret Garden" feel. She definitely succeeded. This is such a picturesque scene with the vintage couch and beautiful garden setting. |
What an amazing picture! I love the colors of the flowers and the fact that even the ring picture has an intimate, vintage feel to it, just like the whole reception. |
A few words from the bride:
"[My favorite part of our reception was]
the creative extras we included to make it personal. We had a claw-machine (grab) game, which was one of my favorite things from my childhood. People got really into playing and it was a huge hit at the reception. We also had a s'mores bar since my husband and I both love s'mores and a candy bar which featured vintage 25 cent turn-knob candy machines. The smallest but one of my favorite details was the custom ViewMasters that we had made which had pictures of us inside for guests to play with!"
