Ice cream and Balloons: Melissa and Vance

I usually don't like to feature weddings or engagement sessions captured by my husband and myself,  it dosen't seem fair somehow... but this is an exception.

My awesomely fantastic brother in law and his cute as a button wife-y celebrated their first anniversary this past April. We were too booked to feature them then, but today I want to say "Congratulations" to the lovelies by sharing their engagement session with you!

This Vance, hes awesome. (the hat was a Target fine)

This is Melissa, shes darling. (the beads were also a Target find)

They're stinking adorable, aren't they?

You share when you're in love.

... and play.

Vance & Melissa (ampersand purchased on ETSY)

Wardrobe / Location change!

Love the hats!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I love the giggles and cuddles in this one.
(Melissa's shoes and ring were purchased at Sidecca)

My favorite! This is the one they used on their wedding invitations.
Congratulations, my dear ones, on your one year as husband and wife!
Love you.

Sarah and MIchael: Utah Picnic Engagements

Today's stellar engagement session comes to us from Brooke Bakken, and features the beautiful betrothed: Sarah and Michael.

You know its gonna be good when we start with a scrabble board!

The skirt, the cardigan, the tie and the rolled up sleeves: you two nailed the fabulous wardrobe!

Beautiful details and fabulous detail shots!

Books and lemons, quilts and hot chairs… I'm floating right now!

I cannot not shout how much I love love love this engagement session!
Details make it, ladies. Details COMPLETELY make it. :D

And a bit from the very talented Brooke Bakken:

Sarah and Michael are SO in love! I love the way that Sarah looks at Michael, and I LOVE the way Michael makes Sarah smile so big that her eyes squint and her nose wrinkles. They are blissfully happy and I even told them, watching them snuggle up and show the camera the deep love and respect they have for one another, made me want to get married all over again (to the same wonderful man of course)!!

Sarah is a woman that knows what she wants and has an eye for amazing detail. We collaborated on just what she wanted to have for her picnic and I love what she came up with. I know her wedding will have that same detail, and I can't wait for their big day! Thank you both for allowing me the privilege of being with you through this journey and I am so happy that you have both found your better half!
