Cardston, Alberta LDS Temple Wedding: Kari and Matt

Happy August! In case you're bummin' about the the last few moments of Summer, I have a few things that might cheer you up:

* We have a new (Non-USA) Featured Temple this month!
(<--- check it out to the left.)

*I have a fun giveaway coming up soon

*AAAAAAAAAAAnd --- I'm loving this rustic wedding from Eternal Reflections Photography! Aren't you?

What a fabulous bride! Jumping in the water before the reception. (its not even a TTD, its her actual wedding day.)

The boat image is seriously a picture of my fantasy.
Blake and I used to dream about, not only a beautiful, secluded lake and a boat for two, but a CANADIAN secluded lake and a boat for two.
Kari, you so lived my fantasy --- LUCKY!

I truly adore the dip kiss. (um, and the birdcage veil!)

FEATHERS IN THE BOUQUET! love love love it.

(Some thoughts from the photographer:
Kari's dad passed away when she was 10 years old, and as such, she learned at a young age the importance of family and Temple Sealings. Throughout the wedding there were touches of family everywhere. She carried a red rose bouquet, that she made with her mother. Red roses...just like her mom had when she married her dad. There was a harpist that played a song very special to Kari's dad. Everything was so beautiful and reinforced the sealing and the beauty of that sealing. How families really can be together forever.)

ERP, Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful wedding!

  4. OH! OH! OH! You know I love this wedding so, so much!!! And I just shot a wedding with a canoe too! So fun! But this place is absolutely beautiful! I wish these were my wedding pictures! Seriously! (I have issues... ) lol The walking on the shore ankle-deep and the twirling in the meadow or whatever are my favorites. :)

  5. Thank you for posting the wedding. I myself got married in the Cardston Temple 12 years ago and I loved seeing these pictures. Brought back great memories of my own wonderful day.
