Jessica and Carter: Washington DC Temple Wedding

Happy Valentine's Day!!! What better way to celebrate this wonderful holiday of love than with an LDS Bride wedding?!

We are so happy to feature Emily Heizer Photography again on The LDS Bride. She's one of our lovely sponsors and a very talented photographer. Check out this bride's sister's wedding that we featured about a year and a half ago to see more of Emily Heizer's work.

This week's first wedding comes to us from the Washington DC temple and features a beautiful Virginia park reception.

Jessica's vibrant calla lily bouquet is just so gorgeous and unique.

All the lace on Jessica's dress is so beautiful and the three-quarter sleeves make for a warmer, sophisticated look.

Such a cute bridal party or family shot idea. Letting your personalities show in your photos  makes them so much more memorable.

I absolutely love Jessica's headband! It's not every day that you see a bride with a colorful headband and I think it really brightens up her look and gives her some extra oomph, if you will.

Lace-up backs are fantastic! Not only do they look amazing, but they allow some breathing room for the bride so that she doesn't have to kill herself dieting before the wedding, but if she happens to lose a few pounds, the dress will still fit like a glove and she'll look gorgeous either way and still be able to breathe on the big day.

Even with the bright colors in the wedding, Jessica is so graceful and makes soft, romantic images like this one  entirely possible.

Such adorable shoes! And they even match the headband! This girl is put together from head to toe, literally.

The bride and groom had a catered luncheon with family and friends and then later had a reception in a public park.

Such cute, modest bridesmaids dresses! These are definitely the type of dresses these ladies will want to wear again.

How sweet is this little bunny?!

Pitchers with spigots are the way to go! They make for a cleaner beverage experience and it's generally easier to keep them filled than punch bowls or smaller pitchers. Not to mention how nice they look on a refreshment table.

Such beautiful sunlight coming in on this picture! And such elegant decorations on the table as well. The flowers surrounded by candle sticks is so romantic.

These orange, lime, and lemon slices look so good in the water pitchers and somehow make cold water or lemonade look even more appetizing.

SUCH a gorgeous and unique cake! The almonds around the edges make the cake seem a little warmer and the separate layers are so beautiful and probably easier to cut up and devour than a traditional three-layer cake.

What a beautiful shot! This couple is absolutely beaming. :)

And they lived happily ever after...

Suzanne and Keenan: Nauvoo, Illinois Temple Wedding

Suzanne and Keenan were sealed on July 1, 2011 in the Nauvoo, Illinois temple and had a beautiful bright summer reception afterward. And the lovely images were submitted by S.W. Portraits

So much of this wedding was created by the bride's very talented sister, Hillary Sperry, including this gorgeous dress.

So much is going on here: the beautiful flowers on Suzanne's homemade dress, the jewelry on her fingers and wrists, and the brilliant yellows and greens in her bouquet. This wedding was very well thoughtout, down to the very smallest detail.

Another creation by Hillary Sperry, these pinwheels add a lot to this bright summer wedding. I also LOVE the lemons as decorations! This could work really with any fruit that might match your colors.

It's hard to believe that the bride's sister made this absolutley amazing dress! Look at all those layers! And it's always fun to see what the bride chooses for her shoes. They always seem to show off the bride's personality.

Even the refreshments match this lemon and lime theme and this door is so absolutely beautiful in this open field.

The center pieces at each table are beautiful and completely DYI. No need to spend a fortune on flower arrangements when you have such a talented sister. :)

I can't say enough good things about this cake! It is brilliant with the homemade pinwheels, but the real icing on the cake has got to be what it's standing on! Such a creative and gorgeous touch!

Clothesline pictures are a great, inexpensive way to show off your favorite pictures together at any reception and they go especially well with this bright picniky summer theme.

It seems that everything about this wedding was both unique and completely beautiful, even down to the bride's ring.

Hannah and Brett: Salt Lake City, UT Temple Wedding

The Salt Lake Temple never fails to result in amazing images!
(Neither does Lindsey Orton)

Check out this amazing wedding, keeping in mind Hannah, the bride, planned it all from across the pond in England. :D

I love Hannah's hair: long, romantic curls with a perfect headband accent. Simply Lovely!

Don't get me started don her shoes! So feminine and romantic (like the rest of her beautiful wedding).

Her amazing bouquet complements the entire theme and stands so nicely on its own, as well.

"B&H" for Brett and Hannah! I absolutely adore the simple, eclectic center pieces.

Check out that view!

What are those pink flowers? They're fabulous.

I so dig this cake! Simple, lovely, absolutely perfect.

And a few words from our princess bride:

I really enjoyed planning my wedding, although I had to plan it from England so it was hard coordinating with vendors via email, and over the phone because of the time differences. However, all of the vendors that I used were so nice and flexible with me, they all made the planning experience a lot easier. The wedding day was perfect and exactly how I had pictured it. We decided to have a dinner with our close friends and family and really enjoyed our evening with them. The reception room looked beautiful, all of the flowers were amazing. I especially loved my bouquet and loved how the centerpieces turned out really pretty. My favorite moment of the day was when Brett and I were sealed together in front of our family. The end of the evening we were surprised with a nice send off in a carriage, it was a perfect way to end our wedding day!
