Happy Valentine's Day!!! What better way to celebrate this wonderful holiday of love than with an LDS Bride wedding?!
We are so happy to feature Emily Heizer Photography again on The LDS Bride. She's one of our lovely sponsors and a very talented photographer. Check out this bride's sister's wedding that we featured about a year and a half ago to see more of Emily Heizer's work.
This week's first wedding comes to us from the
Washington DC temple and features a beautiful Virginia park reception.

Jessica's vibrant calla lily bouquet is just so gorgeous and unique. |
All the lace on Jessica's dress is so beautiful and the three-quarter sleeves make for a warmer, sophisticated look. |
Such a cute bridal party or family shot idea. Letting your personalities show in your photos makes them so much more memorable. |
I absolutely love Jessica's headband! It's not every day that you see a bride with a colorful headband and I think it really brightens up her look and gives her some extra oomph, if you will. |
Lace-up backs are fantastic! Not only do they look amazing, but they allow some breathing room for the bride so that she doesn't have to kill herself dieting before the wedding, but if she happens to lose a few pounds, the dress will still fit like a glove and she'll look gorgeous either way and still be able to breathe on the big day. |
Even with the bright colors in the wedding, Jessica is so graceful and makes soft, romantic images like this one entirely possible. |
Such adorable shoes! And they even match the headband! This girl is put together from head to toe, literally. |
The bride and groom had a catered luncheon with family and friends and then later had a reception in a public park. |
Such cute, modest bridesmaids dresses! These are definitely the type of dresses these ladies will want to wear again. |
How sweet is this little bunny?! |
Pitchers with spigots are the way to go! They make for a cleaner beverage experience and it's generally easier to keep them filled than punch bowls or smaller pitchers. Not to mention how nice they look on a refreshment table. |
Such beautiful sunlight coming in on this picture! And such elegant decorations on the table as well. The flowers surrounded by candle sticks is so romantic. |
These orange, lime, and lemon slices look so good in the water pitchers and somehow make cold water or lemonade look even more appetizing. |
SUCH a gorgeous and unique cake! The almonds around the edges make the cake seem a little warmer and the separate layers are so beautiful and probably easier to cut up and devour than a traditional three-layer cake. |
What a beautiful shot! This couple is absolutely beaming. :) |
And they lived happily ever after... |

The photo with the bride and groom on the bench is gorgeous. So relaxed. The texture of the dress is so fun and elegant.
ReplyDeleteThank you SO MUCH for featuring this wedding Paige! I love Jessica & Carter and their wedding was awesome! We took pictures at so many new and different places; cute little spots in Georgetown that matched the bride's wedding colors, the Iwo Jima memorial (where we got those beautiful shots of the Wahington Monument) and my fusion film from this wedding is I think my most favorite that I have ever done! It was a totally awesome Valentine's gift to Jess & Carter too and I know their whole families were super excited about it! Love it! Thank you!
