Ogden Utah LDS Temple Wedding - Katie and Jared

Erin Langford (one of our preferred vendors) shared this awesome, Polynesian themed wedding with me and I'm excited to share it with you!

Katie and Jared were sealed in the Ogden Utah Temple.
(which used to look just like the Provo Temple, but will soon be recreated into this!)

Oh my goodness, couldn't you just hug this little girl all day long?! Too sweet.
(she also looks soooo done with the formal-wear)

I am seeing brides choose orange as one of their wedding colors so much more now! Its amazing how different hues of the same color can add to different themes.
Instead of conveying "fall" this bright orange screams "tropical", which is keeping in perfect tone with the Polynesian theme of this beautiful Sealing.

The reception was held at Lomond View Gardens in North Ogden. The greenery and plant life added beautiful contrast and accent to the white canopy reception.
Jared's family and friends offered their talents and sang and entertained throughout the reception.
(I hear of family / friends providing services with flowers, cake, beauty and decorations, but rarely do I hear of family / friends providing the entertainment! Jared - your family is awesome.)

Katie and Jared chose to have a ring ceremony at their reception to include family and friends who were unable to attend their Temple Sealing.

Jared is Hawaiian so he and Katie incorporated some of his traditions and culture into their celebrations!
(I love the guest gift - macadamia nuts in little jars.)
There was also yummy Hawaiian food for dinner — Kahlua pig and other great Polynesian dishes.

Beautiful flowers at every table and a darling cake divided into four.
Now, I'm all about the cupcake option when you don't want one large cake, but this is simply darling!
And probably MUCH easier to create in your own kitchen.
THANK YOU SO MUCH, Erin! This seems like a kickin' wedding and I'm happy to share it.
