San Diego LDS Temple Wedding: Jessica and Christian

Say hello to Jessica and Christian.

They were sealed in the San Diego, California Temple and Gavin Wade was awesome enough to share the images he captured while second shooting for Maria Longhi.

Jessica and Christian's wedding was absolutely beautiful. 

Jessica's style was very modern and "rustic / chic". The flowers, centerpieces (basically all reception decorations) and especially her colors tie into this theme. 

I even lover her simple, natural hair style.

Can you believe this is Jessica's parent's backyard?
She has huge… plots of land.
Seriously though, it looks amazing!

If your reception is going to be outdoors, I highly suggest utilizing lights (like Jessica) as opposed to canopies. The night sky can be a wonderful complement to your celebration.

If you're anything like me (and Jessica, apparently) as soon as you step out of the Temple, there will be lots and lots of booty grabbing. :D



Jessica and Christian also had a ring ceremony after their Sealing.
This can be a good idea if you have family or close friends who are unable to attend the Sealing in the Temple. It's important to convey during a ring ceremony that the Bride and Groom are already husband and wife. The exchanging of rings is a symbolic (and unnecessary) gesture between the couple.
… I could write an entire post about ring ceremonies … and, I think I will soon!
